Ambrodil S Syrup 100ml

Ambroxol is used in the treatment of respiratory tract disorders associated with viscid mucus.

It is not known whether it is safe to consume alcohol with Ambrodil-S Syrup. Please consult your doctor.

Ambrodil-S Syrup may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

• Ambroxol helps in thinning and removal of the mucus (slimy and sticky substance) from the airways, thereby treats various respiratory conditions.
• Measure the syrup with a special dose-measuring spoon or cup, not a regular table spoon.  
• Do not use Ambroxol for more than 14 days, without your doctor’s advice.
• Inform your doctor if you have suffered or are currently suffering from any stomach, liver or kidney problem. 
• Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding.

Ambrodil-S Syrup may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Ambroxol is a mucolytic medication. It thins and loosens mucus (phlegm) in the nose, windpipe and lungs making it easier to cough out.

Q. Is Ambroxol good for dry cough?
No. Ambroxol is more effective in the treatment of productive cough associated with thickened mucus and poor mucus clearance

Q. Does Ambroxol make you sleepy?
No, Ambroxol is not known to make you sleepy.

Ambrodil-S Syrup may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
Ambrodil-S Syrup may cause side effects such as dizziness, increased or uneven heart rate, muscle cramps or muscle pain. This may affect your ability to drive.
