Dorzox Eye Drop may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

• Dorzolamide helps lower high pressure in the eye and reduce the risk of vision loss.
• For best results, put one drop 2-3 times daily in the affected eye(s).
• Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute, immediately after instilling the drop. This minimizes the risk of side effects.
• Do not touch the tip of the dropper to any surface, or to your eye, to avoid contaminating the eye drops.
• Remove contact lenses before using Dorzolamide, and allow at least 15 minutes before re-inserting them.
• When applying multiple eye medications, wait for at least 5-15 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution.

Dorzolamide is a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor. It works by decreasing the production of aqueous humour (fluid in the eye), thereby lowering the increased eye pressure.

Q. How long does Dorzolamide take to work?
Usually, Dorzolamide starts working soon after applying it. However, it may take around 3 hours after applying Dorzolamide to make you feel better.

Q. Can I stop taking Dorzolamide if I feel well?
No, keep using Dorzolamide as advised by your doctor even if you feel well. Stopping Dorzolamide can bring back your symptoms of glaucoma.

Q. Should I keep Dorzolamide in the refrigerator?
You don't need to refrigerate Dorzolamide after opening the bottle. However, store it in a cool place, and below 25 C. Keep the container tightly closed, and away from sunlight.

It is not known whether Dorzox Eye Drop alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
