Treatment of Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes mellitus

• Do not drink alcohol when taking this injection as it may cause low sugar levels
• If you miss a dose of this injection, check your blood sugar level and take the next dose if there is an increase in your sugar levels

Inform your doctor if you take the following medicines as they may reduce the effect of this injection or worsen your condition
 

• Tablets that are taken for Diabetes
• Thyroid hormones
• BP tablets
• Bronchodilators
• Pain killers
• Anti-depressants

Eglucent Mix 50 100IU/ml is safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding

• Carry chocolate, sugar food, or fruit juice in case you feel dizzy or have any symptoms of low sugar (hypoglycemia)
• Avoid skipping breakfast, lunch, or dinner
• Injection sites must be changed every time to avoid the formation of hard lumps at the place the insulin is injected
• Injection below the abdomen skin helps in faster absorption of insulin, it is the best site for injection than other places in the body
• Opened vials/cartridges can be kept at room temperature for up to 4 weeks. Unopened vials must be refrigerated
• Do not use this insulin if it is not clear and colorless or if it contains some particles in it
