Treatment of Type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults

• Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine as it can cause low blood sugar levels or other unwanted side effects

Inform your doctor if you take any of the following medicines before taking Gluvilda OD 100mg Tablet

• Antipsychotic medicines (taken for psychotic disorders)
• Corticosteroids medicines (for rashes, inflammation, asthma and other conditions)
• Medicines used to treat glaucoma (Eye pressure)
• Cardiac stimulants (affects heartbeat rate)
• Thyroid medicines
• Water tablets (for edema to remove excess unwanted salt and water from the body)
• Antifungal medications
• Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs)

Gluvilda OD 100mg Tablet is not safe to take during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers must consult their doctors before taking this medication

• Taking these medicines may cause low blood sugar levels (hypoglycemia) when taken with other antidiabetic medicines, or if you drink a lot of alcohol you skip or do not eat food or you eat late
• Carry chocolates, sweets or juice with you if you experience anxiety (feeling restless, fearful, uneasy), sweating, your body feeling cold and tremors (shivering of the body)
• Don't do any work that requires concentration and focus. Avoid physical stress 
• Get your kidney and liver functions regularly checked by your doctor
• Tell your doctor if you suddenly do not feel hungry or if you have abdominal pain or if you feel tired always or change in the colour of your urine (dark) or if your eyes and skin become yellow due to jaundice as these are the symptoms of liver problems or damage
• Follow a healthy diet and exercise regularly while taking Gluvilda OD 100mg Tablet

Take Gluvilda OD 100mg Tablet before or after eating food at a time prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the Tablet as a whole with a glass of water, do not chew or crush or break it
