Markdryl Syrup is an antibiotic that contains Metronidazole 100mg, Norfloxacin 100mg used to prevent different types of bacterial and parasitic infections

Metronidazole is used in the treatment of bacterial infections and parasitic infections. It is used in infections of the brain, reproductive system, gastrointestinal tract, skin, vagina, and other areas of the body.

Consuming alcohol while taking Markdryl Syrup may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heart beat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure (Disulfiram reaction).

Markdryl Syrup may be unsafe to use during pregnancy

Metronidazole: Headache, Dryness in mouth, Nausea, Glossitis, Metallic taste, Stomatitis (Inflammation of the mouth), Muscle pain

Norfloxacin: Headache, Dizziness, Allergic reaction, Nausea, Stomach pain, Diarrhea

Markdryl Syrup is to be taken with food.

Metronidazole is an antibiotic. It kills the bacteria and other microorganisms that cause infections by damaging their DNA.

Markdryl Syrup may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
Markdryl Syrup may make you feel sleepy, dizzy, confused. You may have hallucinations, fits (convulsions) or temporary eyesight problems (such as blurred or double vision) affecting your ability to drive.
