Treatment of Type 2 diabetes mellitus

• Avoid drinking alcohol as it may cause low sugar or lactic acidosis
• Do not take a double dose of this tablet if you miss a dose, skip the missed dose and follow your regular schedule as prescribed by your doctor
   

If you take any of the following medicines inform your doctor before you take Vildanex M Tablet
 

• Pain killers
• Blood pressure tablets
• Thyroid hormones
• Antacids
• Medicines that affect the nervous system

Vildanex M Tablet is not safe to take during pregnancy and breastfeeding

• Tell your doctor about taking this medicine if you have surgery where general anesthetics are used
• Inform your doctor if you find it hard to breathe, have continuous sick or vomiting sensation, and pain in your stomach as Vildanex M Tablet may cause a rare condition called lactic acidosis (excess level of lactic acid in the blood)
• Regularly monitor your kidney and liver functions with the help of your doctor
• Inform your doctor if you have symptoms like stomach pain, tiredness, loss of appetite, dark urine color, or jaundice

• Hypoglycemia (low blood glucose level)
• Trembling
• Headache
• Dizziness
• Nausea
• Weight gain
• Lactic Acidosis (Rare)

Take Vildanex M Tablet as advised by your doctor after eating food to avoid stomach upset. Swallow the tablet as a whole do not chew, break or crush it
